Monthly Mayor’s Fitness Challenge – Event Registration

Please register here for the Monthly Fitness Challenge events sponsored by the Mayor's Wellness Committee of the City of Asbury Park. These events are open to participants of all ages.

The City of Asbury Park’s Mayor’s Wellness Committee will be hosting monthly Mayor’s Fitness Challenges through December. The free, one-hour fitness challenges will take place on the first Saturday of each month at various parks and open spaces throughout the City. The events will be formatted as a 50-minute class taught by local fitness instructors, followed by a 10-minute nutrition session with recipes and nutrition advice. Attendees can earn participation prizes and trainers will provide participants with a monthly calendar for at-home fitness activities. Each event will also include parallel youth programing through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Asbury Park. In addition, Hackensack Meridian Health will be hosting a mobile health screening van at several of the events. The rain location for all events is the Boys & Girls Club of Asbury Park located at 1201 Monroe Avenue in Asbury Park.
